Technical description:
A Booster is an amplifier of the digital signal. The locomotives can then be supplied with the necessary power supply together with the digital information to control them. In a digital track, multiple Boosters are needed to power all locomotives.
It is recommended to use several small Boosters, instead of one large Booster. Short circuits create sparks that burn into the wheels of the locomotives. In the long run, these sparks damage the wheels.
This small Booster is also ideal for modular courses with a LocoNet network. In this way, the Boosters can be divided over the different modules.
